EVing (ee-vee-ing) is the opposite of “destination” vacations.
EVing is a journey in an electric vehicle, preferably one whose owner has renewable energy credits sufficient for its energy needs. EVers purposely drive through small towns and into the heart of big cities at a casual pace. Ok, casual Sunday driving in NYC will likely result in threats to your personal safety, so use some common sense.
EVing brings us back to the early days of motor vehicle travel. Drive a comfortable distance, locate an EV charger (Worried about finding a place to charge? Check out Plugshare and AAA), and visit your new surroundings and the people living there.
EVing gives you the time to enjoy the places you visit and maybe take in a ballgame or two along the way.
Whether you have an EV yet or not, slow down, relax, and enjoy the journey!
